About CTU Colorado Springs Campus

A Beautiful Backdrop for a Brilliant Education

Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs was one of the first institutions of higher education to design degree programs utilizing online learning. It earned a 10-year accreditation (2001-2011) from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and offers Associate's, Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, Visual Communications and Criminal Justice. The campus also offers executive-format doctoral programs in Management and Computer Science.

CTU Colorado Springs is particularly noted for its degree programs in Computer Security. Located amidst the nation's second largest aggregation of government/military agencies-including the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), the U.S. Air Force Academy, and Department of Homeland Security-it's an ideal place to pursue a degree in digital/cyber security.

Campus President Greg Mitchell is especially proud of the university's digital forensics laboratory. "We're one of the few accredited institutions in the nation to offer both a B.S. and Master's in Computer Security. And we've earned special recognition from such prestigious organizations as the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)."

Most CTU students are working adults, juggling classes with multiple priorities and lifestyle demands, so degree programs are built around their daytime schedules. Yet they still enjoy opportunities to meet with their fellow students in lounges and the outdoor areas of the school. Many participate in activities run by the student senate. And most make good use of the school's quality career services program, featuring two on-campus and virtual career fairs a year, on-campus interviews by individual employers and assistance in applying for suitable internships as part of their professional career development.

In many ways, attending CTU Colorado Springs is like stepping into the future of education-and professional employment. Perhaps that's why so many graduates recommend it to their friends and family, accounting for 50 percent of the school's new students. They know just how Colorado Technical University's innovative programs, industry-current technology, dedicated faculty, and real-world focus provide an education today that can lead to greater achievement tomorrow.
